Age of Empires III problem with in-game music, taunts or subtitles on campaign videos going too fast

We were playing multiplayer Age of Empires 3 for few days with friends but then I decided to try the campaigns. I noticed that the subtitles on the videos between the campaigns go VERY fast and there was no sound. Then I noticed I don't have the in-game music and the taunts by the other players are muted. I struggled for few hours before I found this solution on the AOE3 forums. Basically what you need to do is this: From the Start menu choose Run and type cmd .Type the following and press enter after each line. regsvr32 l3codeca.acm regsvr32 l3codecx.ax regsvr32 quartz.dll   type exit to close the command prompt Start your game and enjoy.
